I am currently attending the Lausanne/WEA Creation Care Network conference in Jordan. From 28 September to 2 October, we will take an in-depth look at today’s ecological crises through a biblical lens, bringing clear theology, sound science, and practical wisdom together.

After an extraordinary year of hardship and isolation, SAT-7 ARABIC’s Christmas special joins Christians across the Middle East and North Africa together in joy and service to others. Families from Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria will participate from their homes, in a celebration in aid of struggling and homeless families in Lebanon.

Following last year’s Christmas Stories episodes filmed on the rooftop of the SAT-7 Egypt Studios, this year SAT-7 ARABIC is broadcasting a second Christmas Stories special coming to us from Jordan. This Christmas special broadcast is focused on the needs of refugees residing in Jordan emphasizing the efforts of churches of various denominations reaching out to help them.

When worship program Keep on Singing broadcast a special episode from Jordan, God used it in a very powerful way. “You have made history for Jordan,” one musician said – and SAT-7 ARABIC viewers agreed.

A SAT-7 Egypt crew recently visited refugee children in Jordan. As the team shared God’s love, the children showed them courage and humility. SAT-7 KIDS Channel Manager Andrea Elmounayer shares why these visits are so important.

Currently in its fourth season, this innovative variety talk show from Jordan aims to wake women up to their potential. It raises awareness of how stereotypes hold women back in society and encourages them to change their situations.

Despite its small size and lack of natural resources, Jordan, officially the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, plays a significant role in the Middle East, lying between Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq and the Holy Lands.
