SAT-7 has called on Christians across the Arab World to join in prayer for Sudan by airing prayers for peace from an interdenominational church service in Khartoum.

While Iraqi demonstrators have been calling out to be heard by their rulers in some of the largest protests since the fall of Saddam, SAT-7 viewers heard that churches in Iraq are crying out to God for their nation.

As widespread protests continue across Iran, a governmental block on social media platforms has limited SAT-7’s communication with viewers of the Persian-speaking channel SAT-7 PARS. Recent protests have seen thousands arrested and at least 20 killed.
