SAT-7 is launching the Middle East’s first on-demand Christian video streaming service. Available worldwide in multiple languages, the new SAT-7 PLUS platform will enable the ministry to bring the life-changing message of the Gospel to a wider audience in the region, including a growing younger demographic engaging via mobile devices.

In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), societal stigma and shame around disability is widespread while support structures, at both the local and national level, are very limited. SAT-7’s channels seek to offer opportunities for people with disabilities to be represented, and to share their stories in societies in which they are often side-lined.

Everyday experiences of isolation are something that all of us have become familiar with since the arrival of COVID-19. Middle East and North African (MENA) nations have been affected too, although isolation in other ways is a daily reality that many of the region’s Christians know only too well. Cairo-born George Makeen, SAT-7’s Arabic Channels Programming Director, explains how this isolation came about, how media is overcoming it, and what Christians in the West can learn from their brothers and sisters.

A new program, Who Am I?, reaches out to Algerian women, helping them to draw encouragement, and enrich their relationship with Christ, through stories of women in the Bible. The latest episode featured a story of a woman who sinned and felt condemned, until she experienced God’s mercy and forgiveness.
