Love Is… Giving Hope

SAT-7 ARABIC’s Needle and New Thread often receives powerful testimonies from viewers calling in to share how the program has impacted their lives. Samia, a female viewer from Egypt, shares her story and how God brought her hope through SAT-7’s programs.

“I have experienced a lot of oppression and violence but thank the Lord, I survived. I love your program; it has benefited me a lot, Samia says.

SAT-7 ARABIC viewer Samia from Minya, Egypt described how she and her children suffered for many years, dealing with her husband’s mental illness.

“My husband was mentally ill for eight years and mistreated us for a long time because of his illness,” she describes.

MENTAL ILLNESS AFFECTS THE WHOLE FAMILY

In addition to the abuse and mistreatment Samia experienced because of her husband’s illness, Samia’s family and friends insisted that she take her daughter out of school due to financial difficulties.

Drawing encouragement from SAT-7’s programs and God’s message of hope and faith, Samia prayed and persevered to keep her daughter in school.

FAITH THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES

Samia faced impossible situations needing to provide for her daughter’s education. She describes how God answered her prayers.

“God fulfilled all our needs and sent us the fees for my daughter’s school. Your program has helped me to have faith through difficult times, as you discuss issues that we experience in our daily lives.
