CHILDREN SHARE FEARS AND PRAYERS FOR WAR-TORN REGION
SAT-7 KIDS program Behind the Door is providing “sanctuary” for young Arab viewers frightened by the war in the Holy Land and other conflicts in the region. In a live episode last week, children shared their heartfelt prayers for those suffering and grieving, bringing tears to the eyes of the show’s presenters.
SURVEY REVEALS VIEWS OF IRANIAN AND AFGHAN VIEWERS
After many months of nationwide protests in Iran under the slogan “Woman. Life. Freedom”, SAT-7 surveyed viewers in the country about their views on women’s rights and religious freedom. The survey, which also included responses from viewers in Afghanistan, will inform the new season of Insiders, a program that advocates for gender equality and Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB).
