With Easter being marked on the same day by the Eastern and Western Churches this year – which happens on average only once every three or four years – SAT-7’s channels are celebrating the unity of Christ’s global Church as well as the resurrection of Jesus.

Christians across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are joining in vibrant Easter celebrations during mid-April. SAT-7’s channels are broadcasting a range of programs that share the life and hope of the Easter message with Arabic, Persian, and Turkish audiences.

Guest writer Archbishop Angaelos is the first Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Church in London. He has been an advocate of SAT-7’s work for several years and is a patron of SAT-7 UK. This Easter, Archbishop Angaelos reflects on how Jesus’ resurrection can bring hope to those going through suffering

As Christians across the Middle East celebrate Easter, SAT-7 ARABIC will broadcast a wealth of special programs and church services. The team hope that viewers of all denominations reflect on the life-changing resurrection message in unity.

This Easter, SAT-7 Founder and International CEO Dr Terence Ascott reflects on Jesus’ words on the cross – “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” – and asks, what is God’s reply for the Middle East today?
