As refugee and minority rights remain under threat in their region, Middle East Christians counter discrimination with a message of God’s love. From Iran and Afghanistan to countries across the Arab World, SAT-7 programs promote acceptance and full human rights in many contexts where minorities face injustice.

A new SAT-7 ARABIC drama will promote women’s and minority rights among millions of viewers in the Middle East. By allowing them to identify with those who are different, Backstage will encourage the tolerance that is greatly needed as new, coronavirus-related human rights abuses hit the region’s most marginalised people.

Many Iranian believers live in fear due to misunderstandings surrounding human rights and freedom of belief. SAT-7 is empowering viewers by educating them on their human rights and encouraging them to stand up for themselves and others.

In December 2014, a SAT-7 KIDS crew visited Iraqi Kurdistan, where they planned to tell the stories of child refugees who had fled from ISIS.
