SAT-7 TÜRK SHARES GOD’S LOVE IN BULGARIA
The satellite coverage of SAT-7 TÜRK reaches far beyond the geographical borders of Turkey. Turkish-speaking viewers outside of Turkey can watch the channel on televisions connected to Türksat, the government regulated satellite, as well as live streaming online, and view clips on downloadable apps.
Earlier in 2016, the SAT-7 TÜRK studio hosted a Turkish-speaking visitor from Bulgaria, Pastor Dahil, who shared that Turkish-speaking Christians in Bulgaria enjoy watching the channel.
“People like it, and that’s important because it’s for their salvation,” Pastor Dahil says, sharing his appreciation for SAT-7 TÜRK in an interview recorded in the studio.
“I’ve been watching this beautiful and wonderful channel with pleasure for months. My favourite programs on SAT-7 TÜRK are the sermons and the worship songs. I’m really blessed by these.”
VISITING BULGARIA
In December 2016, four staff from SAT-7 TÜRK visited Pastor Dahil and other Turkish-speaking Christians in Bulgaria, recording their worship and testimonies.
“We also made this trip to build up relationships with Turkish Christians abroad; we don’t want them to feel alone,” one SAT-7 TÜRK staff member said.
“For us, it is important to be the voice of minorities, not only in Turkey but also abroad.”
SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT SAT-7 TÜRK
Pastor Dahil says that the Christian community in Bulgaria was the first to inform him about SAT-7 TÜRK, encouraging him to watch it.
“I liked SAT-7 TÜRK so much that I started telling people everywhere I went how they could also watch the channel,” Pastor Dahil said.
“It is more important than all the other channels because, as the New Testament says, ‘What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?’”
