NETWORK is SAT-7’s annual international conference for Partners and supporters of the ministry. NETWORK 2019 ‘Impacting More Lives Than Ever’ was held in Cyprus at the end of March. Here are some of the highlights in pictures.
The theme of NETWORK 2019 was ‘Impacting More Lives than Ever’. This was beautifully presented by all four SAT-7 channels, as they tied in powerful viewer testimonies with their individual presentations. Guests were clearly able to see the real-life impact that SAT-7 is having across the MENA.
A team of SAT-7 TÜRK and SAT-7 PARS members led worship throughout NETWORK 2019. Praising God together in both English and Turkish helped bring everyone together and start each day in God’s presence.
Dr Hikmat Kashouh, Senior Pastor of Resurrection Church Beirut, was our main guest speaker at NETWORK 2019. Sharing from the Bible and his own experience, he encouraged us to live up to our calling as followers of Christ and to seek to impact the lives of those around us.
This year, prayer stations were a part of the opening session of NETWORK 2019. Each station had items that one could touch, taste, or look at, to help focus the mind and concentrate on prayer for a specific issue concerning the MENA.
SAT-7 PARS moved to a new and larger studio in 2016, however there was no formal opening ceremony held at the time. NETWORK 2019, with the SAT-7 PARS board present, felt like the perfect opportunity to formally declare the studio open.
As NETWORK 2019 took place in Cyprus this year, guests and staff enjoyed a traditional Cypriot dinner and took part in Cypriot dancing.
During the conference, staff and friends honoured SAT-7 Founder Dr Terence Ascott for his dedicated leadership and service over the past 23 years, and welcomed Rita El-Mounayer as SAT-7’s new CEO.
The final day of NETWORK 2019 began as all guests and staff took part in the communion service led by Rev Bill Schwartz. Guests from all over the world were united; singing as they shared communion together.
