Giving young people a voice
The Middle East and North Africa is one of the world’s youngest regions: those aged up to 24 comprise nearly half of the population – so ministering to children and young people is a key priority for SAT-7.
SAT-7 TÜRK actively supporting young people
Living in Türkiye amid economic crisis and unemployment is difficult for young people. Many feel unhappy and are very worried about the future: how to get a place at university, find a job and earn a living. So young people need the right influences to help them make good decisions and to shape their thoughts, relationships, aspirations, and dreams. To help provide this support, SAT-7 TÜRK participated in September in a Christian youth festival, which is organised by churches in the country every three years.
NEW LIGHT ON THE PATH FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
SAT-7 ARABIC is helping young people turn to God and find connection amid struggle and isolation through the third season of its New Light program. It also aims to help young people learn how to think critically about various life issues using Christian values.

A new collaborative three-year project by SAT-7 and partners to improve social cohesion in Lebanon has received major funding from the Danish Government. Lebanon – Our Story will bring young people from a variety of backgrounds, including Syrian refugees, together to rethink divisive narratives and develop a new shared story of hope.
