As Lebanon faces a second day of uncertainty about what will happen to its people across the country, SAT-7’s Beirut studio calls for prayers that the situation will de-escalate and their country will be protected from being dragged into war.

A 12-year-old Christian girl from Gaza whose family has taken refuge in one of the churches there has shared her prayers for an end to the war. She told SAT-7’s You Are Not Alone program that she and other children want to “return to play and live our childhood”.

“They put me in a 90x90 cm cell. Out of six months in prison, I spent 55 days in solitary confinement. I regard them as the best days of my life because in this place I was comforted and knew the Lord.”
