Current tensions between the United States and Iran could further threaten the rights of religious minorities in the Middle East. New short videos on SAT-7 PARS’ Insiders program will support the Persian speaking Channel in its advocacy to inform viewers in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan of their rights to freedom of religion and belief.

Algerian Christians bravely call for their rightful freedoms as 13 churches in the country remain closed down. Speaking to their fellow Algerians – and to believers around the world – on local Christian broadcaster SAT-7, church members claim their legitimate place in their country and cry out for recognition and prayer.

In many parts of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), people, and Christians in particular, are persecuted, discriminated against, and marginalised for their faith. Through culturally sensitive programming, SAT-7 aims to help break the silence and encourage open discussions on human rights such as Freedom of Religion and Belief (FORB).
