Film can change the way we understand and look at life. This is the thinking behind SAT-7’s use of drama in productions like Backstage and a forthcoming TV film, Toxic, whose characters are looking for healing from the various forms of rejection and violence they have experienced. It is also one of the reasons for SAT-7’s support for a new short film competition for young Christian film-makers in Egypt and the Arab World.

The film is a powerful act of representation and remembrance of a Christian history and culture that is usually overlooked in Turkey.
SAT-7 KIDS’ program Tomorrow is Better (Chato) participated in the children’s television awards of the PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL 2018 festival in Munich, Germany. Due to this recognition, SAT-7 KIDS has been invited to participate in the JAPAN PRIZE 2018 contest.
The Way Back Home has won five awards at the Christian Film Festival (CFF) in Virginia, USA. Though produced in Turkish, and a film of complex metaphors, the short film has made an international impression.
