SAT-7 PARS
SAT-7 PARS broadcasts across the Persian world to share God’s love with people in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan.
DISCIPLESHIP FOR ALL
Christians in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan face many challenges and restrictions, driving the Church mostly underground. But people are continuing to find faith and hope in Christ.
SAT-7 PARS supports the growth of the Church in the Persian world through biblical teaching and discipleship content for adults and children. The channel also helps viewers in their everyday lives through programming that addresses specific needs such as the treatment of women and access to education.
LIFELINE FOR THE UNDERGROUND CHURCH
SAT-7 PARS is a lifeline for isolated believers who are under pressure because of their faith in Christ and the difficult circumstances in their homelands. The Viewer Support team connects with people one-to-one to provide encouragement, prayer, and advice. Viewers are also encouraged to participate in live programs to interact with other believers and share their experiences.
The majority of SAT-7 PARS’ programming is in Iranian Persian (also popularly known as Farsi), the main language of Iran, but the channel is continuing to develop new content in Dari, the Persian language spoken in Afghanistan, and Tajik, the language spoken mostly in Tajikistan.
“As a Persian-language channel, we serve a diverse audience across Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. Each country has its distinct culture, history, people, and variety of Persian, and it is crucial to us that our viewers can hear about God’s love in their own heart languages.”
Panayiotis Keenan, SAT-7 PARS Executive Director
