Not afraid to tackle difficult world issues, the Presenters of SAT-7 TÜRK’s live program Let’s Talk, addressed the refugee crisis in preparation for World Refugee Day, 20 June. Discussing a range of topics from a Christian point of view, the program has caught the attention of thousands of viewers across Turkey.

For Christians in North Africa, hearing the gospel in their own dialect is a priceless gift. Sarah, an Algerian viewer, is witnessing first-hand the impact of SAT-7 ARABIC’s Algerian-dialect shows. “This channel changes lives,” says Sarah. “The Holy Spirit touches viewers, because faith comes by hearing.”
FATHER AND DAUGHTER INSPIRE FAMILIES
Hamid and Aya, a Moroccan father and daughter, show what a healthy parent-daughter relationship looks like through their SAT-7 KIDS program Me and My Daughter. By re-enacting their real-life everyday ups and downs, the pair indirectly encourages viewers of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to strive for healthy family relationships.
THE CHALLENGE OF PROGRESS IN NORTH AFRICA
In the region that sparked the “Arab Spring”, some momentous change has been achieved. But too often, lives remain blighted by inequality, poor education and illiteracy, and limited civic freedom. In the most extreme cases, vulnerable people in North Africa are being totally deprived of their human rights.
BIG CHURCH GROWTH IN ALGERIA DESPITE ADVERSITY
Producers Samia and Salah Kessai are no strangers to adversity – the church they attend recently reopened after months of enforced closure. But the couple, who make impactful SAT-7 programs on the ground in Algeria, refuse to lose heart. Their work is a vital support for those choosing to follow Christ.

SAT-7’s North African viewers connect with us through our call centres, online platforms and mail. Viewers, from across the Maghreb and all walks of life, share their testimonies, ask for prayers and express their excitement to have Christian programming offered in their dialect.
