When it comes to producing programs for the people of the Middle East and North Africa, we are very intentional about what we broadcast and how we work. Regardless of channel, language or country, the following principles always guide all of our broadcasts.
FILLED WITH HOPE
In a part of the world many consider “hopeless”, we have made a choice: we choose to broadcast hope. Our programs, our presenters, the very spirit in which we come, can all be summed up by the words “filled with hope”.
RUN BY LOCALS
We do not broadcast from faraway countries, showing foreign faces speaking foreign languages. We are based among the people we are serving, producing programs in local languages.
SENSITIVE TO CULTURE
The Middle East is a complex, diverse place – where trust is vital in gaining acceptance. That is why we choose an approach that is sensitive, understanding, and respectful of local people and practices – while never compromising the truths we believe.
SERVING THE WHOLE PERSON
We care about the spiritual health as well as the holistic needs of our viewers: we serve the whole person. We are unafraid to tackle important topics such as gender, disability, poverty or discrimination – the full human experience.View our full program policy
