Most television channels tend to have one-way communication. SAT-7 is an exception: we are passionate about making our satellite TV channels and digital platforms places we can have conversations and build relationships with our viewers.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
The calls and messages we receive come from viewers from all backgrounds and walks of life. Some are in need of counselling, prayer, or guidance to help them mature spiritually, while others want to share their testimonies or thank SAT-7 for being a platform that nourishes and strengthens their Christian faith.
WHAT DO WE DO?
- We interact with our viewers daily to improve the quality of our programming. The reason SAT-7 exists is to support the growing Church in the region – we want our programming to address the needs of our audience.
- We conduct viewer surveys every second year, so we are well-informed about how best to cater to our audiences.
- We have Viewer Support teams that are available on a 24/7 basis. Counselling teams are there whenever our viewers need them, so they never feel alone. And when the phones are not ringing, they pray for every viewer’s needs.
- We are active and engaging with people over multiple digital platforms, enabling viewers to have in-depth discussions over pages and forums relevant to what they watch on SAT-7.
