Fundraising Director

Position Summary

Do you want to participate in transforming lives and communities through satellite television and digital media? Are you able to develop, lead and drive the fundraising approach to support our ministry strategy? Reporting to the COO and leading the development of the SAT-7 International fundraising approach, this position is particularly focused on:

  • Enabling and coordinating fundraising efforts in Europe, Asia and MENA
  • Ensuring cross-fertilization of knowledge and best practice in fundraising work across the organisation.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A degree in related expertise or other relevant education
  • Proven expertise in international non-profit fundraising
  • Proven expertise in leading fundraising teams
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning, project management and financial management
  • Ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas
  • Experience working with senior-level stakeholders including Board members, Partners, etc
  • Ability to build consensus across levels and functions
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with additional languages an asset
  • Proven record of building and managing work-teams and creating an enabling environment

Our current policy is that staff raise their own support – for example through a mission agency or church. At times, it is possible for us to offer a local salary.
