DARE TO DREAM FOR RESTORATION
As Christians, we know God promises to restore the brokenness in our lives. Even in loss, we often find new life, as we experience His grace and comfort. For those in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) who feel broken, God’s message of restoration is changing lives – and SAT-7 has the privilege of sharing it with those who need His love most.
Imagine you have spent a lifetime working long days in the fields. Building your farm with your own hands. Creating a home and a family with your spouse. Then, in one instant, everything is taken away from you. Your crops are set on fire and your home is bombed.
This is Hasan’s* story. Hasan and his family lost everything when ISIS attacked their land in Syria. They now live in a Lebanese refugee camp, where the winter cold seeps through their mattresses and hope is hard to find.
For Hasan and millions of other refugees, restoration feels impossible.
BROKENNESS AND LOSS
Violence is not the only blight destroying lives in the MENA. 
Drug addiction is destroying lives across the region. Especially in Iran, where as many as three million people are thought to be addicted to drugs. Furthermore, the people of the MENA are crying out for restoration of broken marriages, of health, and of struggling spiritual lives, among many other problems.
GOD RESTORES
Thankfully, there is hope. God is in the business of restoration, and for many SAT-7 viewers, receiving His love, is the first step towards healing.
“Because of your programs, I opened my heart to Christianity and to the Lord,” writes Elnaz, a SAT-7 PARS viewer from Iran. “When you sit and watch, you become more and more convinced of how great God’s love truly is.”
SUPPORTING VIEWERS
As well as sharing God’s love, SAT-7’s programs offer prayer and counselling, including several shows specifically for those struggling with addiction or in their marriages. Every SAT-7 channel features amazing testimonies that encourage viewers to seek God and work toward restoration.
“I would like to thank you for praying for me. It has been a while since we had any problems in my home. We now have peace,” says SAT-7 ARABIC viewer Adam, from Egypt.
Arad, from Iran has also experienced God’s restoration. “I’m feeling so happy, all my pains and my headache are healed, but more important than healing, my faith and love for the Lord has grown.”
RESTORATION FOR REFUGEES
The story of one young believer has also encouraged millions. Myriam became a refugee when ISIS attacked Iraq in 2014. Even though she lost her home, God restored her life – by giving her an unbreakable sense of security and belonging in Him.
Whether displaced viewers like Hasan rebuild their lives back at home – as Myriam’s family now have – or elsewhere, they will find comfort in the words she shares in a SAT-7 documentary.
“It’s not about the house,” Myriam says. “It’s about what God is doing.”
