The Communications Officer is a member of the Communications Department. This position requires a special focus and collaboration with our Persian channel. The successful candidate will find, write, and edit stories from SAT-7 PARS for various print and media platforms.

The Human Resources (HR) Director manages the overall provision of Human Resource services throughout all SAT-7 offices. Internal Communications Officer

The Internal Communications Officer is a member of the Communications Department and is responsible for facilitating internal communications to staff, in all offices, and to the official Partners of SAT-7. The Internal Communications Officer is responsible for communicating effectively and creatively with more than 200 staff members within SAT-7 and with the organisation’s many Partners around the world. This team member ensures that the right news is shared, at the right time and with the right people.

Projects Development Officer (Swedish-speaking)

The Projects Development Officer is responsible for developing donors and financial support for SAT-7’s social, educational, and developmental work in the Middle East and North Africa. This will be done through an associated organisation, SAT-7 Utbildning & Utveckling - en Sverigebaserad insamlingsstiftelse, which is a Swedish based foundation established to raise financial support for the work of SAT-7 Education & Development. SAT-7 Education & Development is a division of SAT-7, which seeks to assist the education and development of all people of the Middle East and North Africa, including especially the poor, vulnerable, illiterate, women and children, internally displaced, refugees, and the marginalized, irrespective of religion, gender, race, ethnicity, or nationality.

The Projects Officer is a member of the Finance and Projects Management Team. Main responsibilities include development of strategic media project proposals, and oversight and coordination of projects and relevant donor reporting. The Social Media Coordinator is a member of the Communications Department and is responsible for coordinating and executing the department’s online strategy. We are looking for a driven Social Media Coordinator who can attract and interact with supporters across multiple social media platforms. This role also includes responsibility for maintaining SAT-7’s website. The successful candidate will be an experienced, highly motivated individual with an enthusiasm for implementing SAT-7’s social media strategy. He/she will be passionate about creating relevant content, encouraging community participation, and taking SAT-7’s social media presence to the next level.

WRITER/EDITOR

The Writer/Editor is a member of the Communications Department and needs to be excellent in finding, writing and editing stories for various media platforms. The person will have primary responsibility for writing about one of our channels, but needs to be available to help in editing any content for the Communications Department.

Our current policy is that staff raise their own support – for example through a mission agency or church. At times, it is possible for us to offer a local salary. Our aim wherever possible is to develop existing talent, so we gladly welcome those who would like to work with us for a short time to share their skills and mentor our long term staff.
